ExpressDox supports Digital Certificates, challenge-response mechanisms (User ID & Password), Card/Key authorization, and Biometrics - such as a thumbprint or retinal scan.
Role-based Privilege Management
ExpressDox uses a "Role Based" access management model to simplify the administration of access privileges. This policy management system makes it possible to assign application functions to organizational roles and then assign those roles to authorized Users of the system.
Content-based Business Rules
ExpressDox provides the ability to define authority and "processes" based upon the content of business transactions. This automates the enforcement of business policies and greatly reduces the administrative burden.
Distributed Administration
Using the Roles Based Privilege Management mentioned above, ExpressDox allows administrative duties to be distributed to authorized entities so that transactions can be launched from any location. This allows a contractual process to be launched from the origination point (a client's home or office, for instance) - and then "processed" at multiple, disparate locations by each of the trusted entities to that specific type of transaction.

ExpressDox APIs can be used to implement sophisticated business rules AND to personalize presentation of web content so that it matches the "look and feel" of your corporate brand, logo, and collateral materials.
